Empowering Communities Through Citizen Science

Reliable, hyperlocal environmental data is the foundation for understanding and addressing the challenges that shape our daily lives, from air quality and noise pollution to climate resilience. Yet, traditional data collection often fails to capture the nuances of individual neighborhoods or personal experiences, leaving citizens without the insights they need to act and institutions without the granular information required for impactful decisions.

Curious Public bridges this gap by empowering citizens to become active contributors to scientific knowledge. As a citizen science enabler, it provides the tools, platform, and community to collect, share, and collaborate on real-world environmental data. Turning curiosity into action and transforming how we understand and improve our living environments together.

Curious Public is a self initiated project by Omvorm, set to launch as a spin-off mid 2026.

Listen closer. Learn together.

EAR is a compact, AI-powered sound sensor that helps us understand the world around us.From urban noise to biodiversity, EAR reveals the hidden patterns of your environment, simply by listening. All while keeping your data private and under your control. Whether you're curious about traffic in your street, biodiversity in your garden, or neighbourhood, EAR turns sound into insight.

The microphone is powered wirelessly through the window, eliminating cable clutter altogether.

We would love your feedback.

Curious public is in full development. We are extremely curious (duh) what you think about it. That is why we created a short feedback survey. 3 minutes of your time would mean the world to us. Thanks!
