Re-use of infrastructure within the energy transition

The transition to a smart electricity grid is accelerating, bringing both challenges and opportunities. One of the key challenges is replacing old infrastructure with new. Network operator Fluvius made the sustainable choice to reuse a large portion of the meter cabinets, significantly reducing waste. In collaboration with Sadinter, we designed a series of conversion kits. This valuable partnership enabled us to use materials efficiently and create a design that is easy for the network operator to install.

“The transition to a smart electricity grid requires replacing outdated infrastructure, risking significant waste and inefficiency.”
